What’s involved at Alpha Maths Eastwood?

1 hour fun and engaging Mathematics lessons each week for children. Lessons are aimed to improve student skills including mathematical thinking, fluency, reasoning, communication and problem solving. Lessons take place in person or online after school hours.

Lessons are designed to support learning at school and are planned in reference to the current NSW Syllabus documents which are used in all NSW schools. All teachers at the Alpha Maths program are fully trained and accredited Primary School Teachers with many years of experience and a passion for working with children.

Group Lessons

You may choose to enrol your child in a group lesson at Alpha Maths Eastwood. Children are assessed at the commencement of the program by a professionally trained Primary School Teacher. This is a free service available to any child in Years K-6. Appointments by booking only. Parents will then be recommended a suitable time after school for your child to learn with a group of up to five children of a similar age and ability. Learning in a small group can help to develop children’s academic skills and confidence.

Individual Lessons

You may choose to enrol your child in individual lessons. This is recommended for children requiring extra one-on-one support. Please see our page on pricing for more information about this option.
